Wednesday, We Ask, “Can Baseball Be Exciting?”

As we did a few weeks ago, we’re bringing you another new social media segment on Playing with Science this week. Last time around it was Gary’s View, which had Gary O’Reilly break down the use of, and controversy surrounding, Video Assistant Referees in professional soccer and the upcoming Women’s World Cup, which you can find on Playing with Science’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels. This week, we look at making baseball more exciting.

Neil deGrasse Tyson joins our intrepid hosts Chuck Nice and Gary to talk baseball. How do you make the game more exciting? Is it already exciting enough? Our trio think not. Neil gives a simple fix that might make watching games go from 4 hours to 10 minutes.  Find out more tomorrow!

Every other week for the next few months, we’ll be exploring new forms of content like Gary’s View and Neil’s View: Can Baseball Be Exciting? on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, alternating with regular episodes of the Playing with Science podcast.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!
