#CelestronMissionStarTalk is nearly over. Mission 6, the last mission, begins now.
It’s your last chance to correctly name an unidentified celestial object in our contest. If you do, you could win a SkyMaster 15×70 Astronomy Binocular as well as being entered to the grand prize drawing to win a NexStar Evolution 6 Computerized Telescope.
The winner of Mission 5 was Chris Tafoya from Facebook, who correctly identified the image above as M33, the Triangulum Galaxy. The other answer we would have accepted is NGC 598. The image was taken by astrophotographer Tony Hallas, using a Celestron EdgeHD 11” telescope on an AP1200GTO Mount, and a QSI583ws camera with Astrodon filters and an F Ratio of f/10 in November, 2013 in Foresthill, CA.
The Final Mission, Mission 6, Starts Now
Are you ready for the final mission in #CelestronMissionStarTalk? It’s your last chance to enter to win. No purchase is necessary to enter. Winners will be picked at random from correct submissions. One entry per mission per social media channel. All entries must include the hashtag, #CelestronMissionStarTalk.
If you’d like to volunteer for Mission 6, visit @Celestron on Twitter, @CelestronUniverse on Instagram, or Celestron Telescopes on Facebook. Our final unidentified celestial object is waiting for you now. You’ll also find a link to contest rules and submission guidelines.
