In the extension clip, Neil and Chuck discuss what it would be like to have Isaac Newton as a dinner guest in the present day. As Neil rightly points out, he might be a bit overwhelmed with all the technological, societal, and scientific advancements that have occurred. In all honesty, his head might explode.

What historical figure would you want to have dinner with? My answer always jumps between Pablo Picasso, John F. Kennedy, and Teddy Roosevelt. Pablo Picasso because I’m interested to hear about his artistic process, John F. Kennedy to find out what’s true and what isn’t true about is campaign and ascension to the Presidency, and Teddy Roosevelt because he was just an all-around bad ass.

If you haven’t listened to the original episode, it’s packed full of a wonderful mix of topics that range from the boiling surface of the Sun to the dark side of the Moon. You’ll hear about the speed of light and if it ever varies. We also discuss how meteors formed Meteor Crater, Chesapeake Bay and Chicxulub off the Yucatan Peninsula.

All that, plus, we even dive into the mysterious – we ponder if dark matter is an accumulation of all the souls of all the life forms in the cosmos.

Please join us tomorrow night for Extended Classic – Cosmic Queries: A Powerful Potpourri at 7pm ET right here on our website, as well as on Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, SoundCloud, Stitcher, and TuneIn. If you’re an All-Access subscriber, you can listen to this episode ad-free at 7pm, too.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!
