Early in tomorrow night’s episode, co-host Chuck Nice declares, “Society has finally caught up with my nerdiness. I’ve had to hide it for so long.”

He was speaking to a packed house at NY Comic Con 2016, at the start of StarTalk All-Stars’ “The Science in Science Fiction” panel, but he could have been speaking for just about anybody in the room.

Because, if you’ve never been to Comic Con, and you are a lifelong nerd, proudly into comic books, science fiction, fantasy, roleplaying, cosplaying, or any of the other numerous tribes represented within the sprawling Javits Center, the one overwhelming feeling you will have is one of coming home.

Squeeze your way down any given crowded hallway and you’ll pass Imperial Storm Troopers, zombies and zombie killers, superheroes of all shapes, sizes, colors and genders. And for some lucky StarTalk fans, that hallway led to Room 1A18 and astrophysicists Charles Liu and Emily Rice, our co-host and no-longer-closeted nerd Chuck Nice, and our guest, Phillip K. Dick Award nominated author PJ Manney.

What did we talk about? Take your pick: mutant cyborgs, the Kree Supreme Intelligence, colonizing Mars, searching for alien life on exotic exoplanets like Proxima B, reprogramming the human genome to get the most desirable designer babies, Stephen Hawking and artificial intelligence, Elon Musk and neural lace, the Inhumans and Terrigen Mist, tricorders and wearable medical technology, and so much more.

Now, here’s the best part: if you couldn’t get into Room 1A18, or didn’t even get to attend this year’s Comic Con, now you can hear what you missed on Tuesday’s episode of StarTalk All-Stars.

Even better, if you’re a subscriber to StarTalk All-Access, you can watch the whole thing.

Join us for StarTalk All-Stars at NY Comic Con – The Science in Science Fiction on Tuesday, November 29 at 7pm EST, right here on our website, or on iTunesPodcasts, Google Play Music, SoundCloud, Stitcher and TuneIn. And of course, as I just mentioned, subscribers can watch or listen commercial-free on All-Access.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up!
