Be the Lucky Fan Who Comes Backstage at StarTalk Live 2-24-14!

Neil deGrasse Tyson and Michael Tseng backstage at StarTalk Live 11-4-13

Michael Tseng got to meet Neil deGrasse Tyson backstage at StarTalk Live! Will it be you this time?

Do you know this person?

He’s Michael Tseng, and he was the lucky fan whose question was picked and who got to come backstage at StarTalk Live last Nov. 4, 2013.

Is it your turn this time?

All you need to do is come up with the absolutely best Cosmic Query to ask Neil deGrasse Tyson at BAM in Brooklyn on the night of Feb 24. If we choose your question, you’ll get to ask it to Neil from the audience at the end of the show. Afterwards, we’ll take you backstage to meet Neil in person.

We want to be absolutely clear about how this works.

  1. ONLY ONE FAN will be chosen to come backstage to meet Neil after the show.
  2. Submit your question about “Neuroscience” in advance, in the comments section of THIS BLOG POST.
  3. Your question MUST BE SUBMITTED by Tuesday, February 18th at 11:59 pm ET.
  4. You must include a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER so we can reach you on Thursday, Feb 20th to let you know we picked you and to go over the details. (We will not make your phone number public!) If we can’t reach you, we will choose somebody else.
  5. YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ATTEND THE SHOW at BAM in Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 24th at 8 PM ET. (Tickets will not be provided for you.)

Believe it or not, last time, our first choice somehow missed the requirement that he be at the show and was still in California! (Which was frustrating because we really loved his question. Michael’s was great, too, though!)

Tickets still available!

This is our first time bringing StarTalk Live! to BAM, and we’re all very excited. We can’t tell you the whole lineup, but in addition to Neil and co-host Eugene Mirman, our special guests include Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler on The Big Bang Theory on CBS and has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience in real life.

Seats are still available for the show, but they’re going fast. You can get tickets by phone 718-636-4100 or online here.

That’s it for now. Keep Looking Up.
